From May 25-30th Barceló Punta Cana was home to young Latinas from all over the U.S. who

Close by to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic is situated in the heart of the Caribbean
on the island of Hispaniola, the first land Christopher Columbus set foot on in the New
World. The capital, Santo Domingo, was declared UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in
1990, in recognition of its numerous colonial monuments. Visitors to this country will find
beautiful, white-sand beaches, distributed along 1,575 kilometers of coastline boasting
turquoise-colored waters, lush vegetation, and colorful coral reefs. The country offers a
unique environment, in which visitors will enjoy Caribbean rhythms, delicious cuisine, and
the cheerful disposition of its people.
